Female Fertility Score Calculator FAQs
The calculator uses four factors—Age, BMI, AMH, and Antral Follicle Count (AFC). Each factor is given points based on the ranges defined in the scoring logic. The total score (maximum 12 points) is converted into a percentage, which indicates whether fertility is excellent, moderate, or low.
Each parameter contributes to the score as follows: Age (0–2 points), BMI (0–2 points), AFC (1–4 points), and AMH (0–4 points). These points are added together and divided by 12 to give a percentage score representing your estimated fertility potential.
The score reflects your ovarian reserve and overall reproductive health. A higher score indicates healthier fertility markers, a moderate score shows average fertility, and a low score may suggest reduced egg reserve or other factors affecting conception.
While AMH and AFC represent biological ovarian reserve and cannot be naturally increased, improving BMI, lowering stress, addressing hormonal issues, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can support better reproductive outcomes and may improve a moderate fertility score.
BMI (Body Mass Index) is calculated using your weight and height entered in the calculator. The formula used is: BMI = weight (kg) ÷ [height (m) × height (m)]. Based on your BMI value, the calculator assigns points: 2 points if BMI is 18.5–24.9, 1 point if BMI is 25–29.9, and 0 points if BMI is under 18.5 or 30 and above.
No. This tool provides only an estimate based on Age, BMI, AMH, and AFC. It does not replace an ultrasound, AMH/AFC testing, or a full fertility evaluation. If you have concerns about your fertility, please consult a specialist.
